From 13 July 2020, DCS will begin to introduce a small number of face to face visit sessions across each of our prisons.
Visit sessions will be reintroduced in a staged approach based on health advice from the SA Chief Public Health Officer.
We will continue to provide virtual (video) visits as part of the new visits schedule.
All visitors and prisoners will be required to comply with social distancing guidelines.
The department is continuously monitoring the situation and will continue to follow the advice of SA Health. Visit information may change at any time if there is an increased risk of COVID-19 identified.
Who does this apply to?
This applies to all domestic visitors:
- Family and friends.
