Stepping Stones Program

The Stepping Stones program has been designed specifically for female offenders with a moderate to high risk of general reoffending and who’s offending is linked with substance use issues.

The program consists of a combination of three group and one individual session per week, held over a 16 week period.

Key treatment areas include:

  • trauma and grief
  • relationships
  • thinking
  • emotions
  • substance use
  • safety and self-management planning.

An offender is assessed for suitability for this program after sentencing and an individual plan is developed.  This program is only available in the custodial setting.

If an offender has any questions about the program or their plan they should contact their case manager.
