Community Mentor Program

Volunteer mentors provide valuable support to newly released or socially isolated offenders in the community and act as a positive role models.

Volunteer mentors work closely with case managers helping offenders build skills and improve confidence, self-esteem and independence.

These role models assist offenders to develop and build relationships with positive people including family members and the wider community.

The aim of the role model is to improve the offender’s ability to cope with challenges of modern day to day living.

Offenders interested in this program can contact their case manager or their social worker if they have one.
