Cancelling a visit

Family and friends’ support is important to prisoners. Visits can strengthen connection with loved ones and contribute to prisoners’ rehabilitation. Therefore, if a visit must be cancelled, it is recommended that it is done by the visitor as soon as possible. This also allows for other visits to be booked.

To cancel a visit, the visitor must complete the cancel a prisoner visit booking form or call the prison’s general enquiries phone number.

It is strongly recommended that visitors check and confirm all the rules of the prison they are visiting.
