The Department for Correctional Services (DCS) has released for public consultation its draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP), as required under the South Australian Disability Inclusion Act 2018.

The draft DAIP identifies measurable steps DCS will take to improve inclusion and access for people with disability. Identified agency goals have been developed in coordination with business units across the department.

DCS will be required to report annually on our DAIP and conduct a review within a four-year period.

It is hoped that this plan will serve as a building block for DCS to continue to improve access and inclusion for people with disability.

Members of the public are encouraged to engage in the consultation and provide feedback on the draft plan.

Submissions close 19 September 2020

Please provide feedback to before the consulting period closes on Friday 19 September 2020.
