The Department for Correctional Services (DCS) is committed to improving its services for people with disability.

DCS has prepared a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) that supports the State Disability Inclusion Plan.

Our DAIP identifies measurable steps DCS will take to improve inclusion and access for people with disability. Identified agency goals have been developed in coordination with business units across the department.

DCS will be required to report annually on our DAIP and conduct a review within a four-year period.

It is hoped that our plan will increase access to services and supports for prisoners, offenders and its workforce.

A copy of our DAIP is available on the Disability Access and Inclusion page.
