Face to face visits to the Adelaide Remand Centre and Adelaide Pre-Release Centre will recommence as of 6 July 2021. The remaining SA prisons will resume face to face visits from 10 July 2021.

All visitors and prisoners are required to comply with social distancing guidelines.

We continue to provide video visits as part of the new visits schedule.
Visitors are encouraged to access video visits as their first choice to help minimise risk to everybody.

The department is continuously monitoring the situation and will continue to follow the advice of SA Health as the lead agency. Visit information may change at any time if an increased risk of COVID-19 is identified.
