To date, there have been no further positive cases for DCS staff or prisoners linked to YLP.

DCS continues to work closely with the SA Health Communicable Diseases Control Branch to ensure all recommended COVID tests are conducted.

All face to face domestic prison visits remain suspended. The two-week suspension will be reviewed on Tuesday 1 December 2020.

Virtual visits continue to be available for domestic visitors at all prisons.

Our main priority is stopping the spread of COVID-19 within our prisons. The safety of our staff, prisoners and community is of the utmost importance.
