An accommodation unit of the Adelaide Remand Centre. Each of these units has two decks of cells, seen in the background. Each unit accommodates more than 20 prisoners who have their own association areas and recreation in the unit. All meals are taken in the unit and may be consumed either in cells or in common areas. Each unit also has television and radio with some programs fed to the entire complex by cable. |
